Plain English version. The legal bits are in here too, but we've tried to keep the page to one read.
Estate Crafters Ltd, a company registered in England. Our office is in Maidenhead, Berkshire. We're the data controller for any personal information you give us through this site.
If you fill in our contact form, we receive your name, email address, your message, and (if you choose to give them) your phone number and postcode. That's it. We don't run analytics on this site, so we don't collect anything about your visit unless you submit the form.
So we can reply to your enquiry. That's the only reason. Under UK GDPR this is "necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract".
Your message is sent through Amazon Web Services (London region) and lands in our iCloud Mail inbox. Both Apple and Amazon are bound by their own data agreements with us. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with third parties, and we don't use it for marketing.
If your enquiry doesn't go anywhere, we delete the email within twelve months. If we end up working together, we keep records as long as our contract requires (typically six years for tax and warranty purposes).
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we've handled your data badly. Email vr@estate-crafters.com with any of the above and we'll respond within thirty days.
